Dear EEA,

I recently browsed through your website and found very interesting data on Co2 emission by passengers cars in different EU countries.

As I am researching to estimate the total GHG emission per person per daily commute either by the use of a private car, public transport (incl. bus and metro) or other modes. I wonder:

1. Are there any other databases available on the Co2 emission of other modes of transport?
2. Are there any other databases for other GHGs (N2O, O3) emission from different modes of transport?
3. Is there any API that one can read/integrate data from it instead of downloading them manually?

Thanks in advance,
RIJ

Hello,
About emissions, you can refer to the GHG dataviewer http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/greenhouse-gases-viewer. There, you can find the emissions of all GHG (CO2, NH4, N2) by transport mode (road, railways, navigation, aviation). O3 is a secondary pollution, so no emissions.
Best regards

Dear EEA,

Apparently, the link you provided is no longer available.

regarding the question "3. Is there any API that one can read/integrate data from it instead of downloading them manually?"
we do have something that may be of interest "up-to-date Air Quality API": http://discomap.eea.europa.eu/[…]/AirQualityUTDExport.htm
