Yes. The EEA provides several APIs (application programming interface) which are available free of cost to the public. These APIs are used by software developers to build websites which automatically get content and information from the EEA systems. You find more information on these websites:

Hello,

I would like to know if there was a documented API to retrieve the data displayed on this map: http://airindex.eea.europa.eu/. For now the only way I found was to scrap the page, but it's not clean, and I'm not really sure of the data I get. So, do you have any better solution for me ?

We do not have an API for download of AQI data – and no plans to develop. However, the UTD data are accessible via the UTD download service http://discomap.eea.europa.eu/[…]/AirQualityUTDExport.htm

Hello! Im looking into lots of different datasets for a EU project. Is it possible to access the dataset using API endpoints? Is there any documenation available for the APIs? Example: I would like to get this dataset in JSON, XML, CSV or similar format using a API request: http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/urban-green-infrastructure-1

Hi, it seems the FME export stopped on 2 July 2020 for most stations. Does it mean the UTD download service will be discontinued?
