Phd-Student looking for data on European River attributes.

I am currently conducting a PhD-research at the University of Ghent, researching the role of inland rivers in the Roman transport network in Gaul (1st century BCE - 4th century CE). http://www.rsrc.ugent.be/waterways
I was very pleased to find the Ecrins data (https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/european-catchments-and-rivers-network). However, the database and the attributes of the associated GIS shapefile of the waterways have a complex structure: these cannot be connected with current streams in a straightforward way; furthermore, I would like to know if it would be able to deduce the fluvial attributes of these rivers (depth, width, flow stream). Can the Ecrins database/attribute table of the shapefile render this information?

Thanks in advance!

We don’t have information on the depth and width of the river streams presented in the Ecrins as it is a production of the burnt process of the ArcHydro.

However, we can provide the streamflow value for the rivers in case we can get more specifications on which rivers and time series you need.

Kind regards.
