I'm currently doing research on predicted environmental concentrations of antifouling paints in EU inland waterways. For my research I require various environmental parameters for three waterways In Europe (Rhine, Meuse and Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal). These parameters include;

-Depth of mixed sediment layer (m)
-Sediment density (kg/m3)
-rate of degradation of organic carbon in sediment (1/d)
-Nett sedimentation velocity (m/d)

I have recently come across SedNet, the European Sediment Network and have got in contact with them hoping they can help me locate my required data. However, I have yet to receive a response from the numerous emails I have sent them. Does anyone know if this department is still operational? If it isn't, does anyone know what department has replaced this service or know of one that may be able to help me with my query?

Thanks for the help,

Unfortunately we cannot help you with information about the status of SedNet.
You may be able to find information of interest to your field of study at our water pages: https://www.eea.europa.eu/themes/water, which includes an overview of data centres, including the Water Information System for Europe (WISE), as well as links to subtopics (pollution, resources, management).
Kind regards.
