Dear EEA,
I am writing to highlight that the information on Water consumption per capita (l/ca) is not available because the link appears to be broken for some weeks now (http://esl.jrc.it/envind/meth_sht/ms_we056.htm and https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/water-consumption-per-capita-incl.)

Could it be possible to get access to it?

On another note, where could I find the costs on key type of measures for WFD?

Many thanks for you help,
Maria

Dear Ms. Maria Smith,

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

The latest version of the EEA indicator on water resource is available at https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/assessment-4 but the water use per capita graph that you are referring to has been archived as outdated.

Eurostat provides various statistics on water use that are available at https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/environment/water. You may extract from that page the data for public water supply in m3 per capita.

As regards your question on the costs of WFD related activities, you may find the economic analysis section of the WFD page useful. Please see: https://ec.europa.eu/[…]/index_en.htm. Otherwise, you may consult DG Environment via its online service: https://europa.eu/european-union/contact_en.

We hope that this may be useful for you.

With kind regards,
EEA Enquiry Service
