The insecticide naled (DiBron) is used in Miami, Florida in the eradication attempt against the Zika virus transmitting aegidis aegyptie mosquito. It is my understanding that this organophosphate is banned in the EU. I cannot find any reference about this. Where to go to?
Thanks you

Dear M. XKLD Nhat Ban,

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

The EEA is the EU agency responsible for providing information on the European environment. The aim of the EEA is to ensure that decision-makers and the public are kept informed about the state and outlook of the environment.

Your topic of interest falls outside our remits and we are thus not in a position to answer your question. We would suggest that you consult the EU Pesticide Database at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/[…]/?event=homepage&language=EN or contact the European Commission - DG Health and Food Safety via the online service: https://europa.eu/european-union/contact_en .

With kind regards,
