Hello! I am a university student from Copenhagen University seeking information about the EEA Report No 11/2019 "Paving the way for a circular economy" for my master thesis. I am wondering, if I can get access to the data used for the figures 4.1-4.3 as I need to know what policies have been made to further Circular Economy in EU.

If this is not possible to access, I would like to know, how I can find (ideally) a list of regulations, jurisdiction or policies made on EU-level in order to further the transition to Circular Economy.

Dear Ms. 'HJP',

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

As highlighted in the report, the analysis was based on the information contained in national background reports:

‘To improve the understanding of national policies addressing different areas and stages of the circular economy, a meta-analysis of approximately 300 policy initiatives within EEA countries was conducted. The initiatives used in the analysis were taken from the country reports of the 2016 and 2019 More from less reports (EEA, 2016b, 2019b).’

You may consult and access all policy data by consulting the country reports of the 'More From Less' report. They are all available online at https://www.eea.europa.eu/publications/more-from-less (below the report itself). You may also consult the country factsheets on resource efficiency and circular economy in Europe that are available at https://www.eionet.europa.e[…]-circular-economy-in-Europe .

As regards access to a list of EU regulations, jurisdiction or policies on circular economy, we suggest that you refer to:

- DG Environment webpage on Circular Economy: https://ec.europa.eu/environment/circular-economy/
- The report on the implementation of the Circular Economy Action Plan: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/l[…]2&uri=CELEX:52019DC0190

We hope that this may be useful for you.

With kind regards,
