olibats Dear EEA team,

I've been playing around with your Austrian shapefile (
https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/austria-shapefile) a bit and have noticed that the spatial classification on the district level, i.e. 'adm2', does not incorporate some of the more recent district re-classifications; I'm happy to provide more information on these changes if needed.

In any case, I have updated your official shapefile for my own, personal and non-commercial use and was wondering if I could share this work on my own public github page.

Thanks a lot for your help.

KatFi
Dear everyone,

in the scope of a marine conservation project on the Pomeranian Bay, I am looking for high-resolution maps of the marine Natura 2000 sites of Poland and Germany. I have encountered the country-specific maps on this website:
https://www.eea.europa.eu/d[…]-directives-1#tab-hard-copy
and among others, this region-specific map:
https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/image_large

However, the resolution in these is not sufficient for our needs.

Can anyone kindly advise me where I can find such international map of the Baltic region i) in high resolution, ii) in which I can zoom into specific areas (e.g. only Pomeranian Bay), iii) which I would be free to use on our project-specific website, in presentations, outreach documents etc.?
On a small note, I am not familiar enough/do not have access to ArcGIS, so unfortunately do not have the means to adjust or create those maps myself.
Any feedback would be much appreciated!

many thanks in advance and kind regards

minaise10 Hello

I´m interested in EU-DEM (LAEA) dataset for Ireland but there seems to be something wrong with this site or the file. When trying download from
http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/eu-dem#tab-european-data
I get the message "Cannot download this file. Invalid http server reply.
Details: HHHTTP71..1 302 Moved Temporarily".

I also tried to download from Eurostat website http://ec.europa.eu/[…]/eu-dem-laea but get the message that site can´t be reached ("The webpage at ftp://gisco-download:UC9T78H0g8@fts.ec.europa.eu/get/DG_ENTR-EUDEM/EU_DEM_1000K/EUD_CP-DEMS_3500035000-AA.zip might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. RR_FTP_TRANSFER_ABORTED").

I´d be really grateful if you could somehow provide me this file or a download link that works. I need this data for study purposes.

Thank you,
Ingrid
