Hi!
I´m looking for a GIS (shape or raster) map of European Forest Types (EEA, 2006) at the Forest Category level. Where could I find it? Thank you and have a nice day.

Did you look at the Corine Land Cover data? See for example

Hi.Corine Land Cover just divide forests in 3 categories: Conifers, Broad-leaved forests and mixed forests. European Classification of Forests based proposed by EEA has 14 categories (classes) of Level I and 76 categories (types) of Level II. I need these classes and types in a shape or raster format. I´ve read this report and I´ve seen the criteria used to generate manually each of the categories and types of forests...but It´s still missing in GIS or shape format ;) thank you!
