I´m interested in learning where the EEA stands in the controversial debate about possible adverse health effects from WLAN. The federal health / radiation offices in Switzerland, Germany and Russia (perhaps other countries too) are currently giving advice to minimize the exposure from WLAN by prefering wired internet connections. What advice does the EEA give to the public and what does the EEA say about the possible adverse health effects from WLAN?

Hi, we haven't done any specific work on WLAN health effects. On related technologies, mainly on EMF and use of the mobile phones, you may want to look at these two reports, including for further references:
- EEA 2013, Late Lessons Vol. II - Chapter 21 - Mobile phone use and brain tumour risk: early warnings early actions (http://www.eea.europa.eu/publications/late-lessons-2)
