I am an associate professor at Oslo university. I remember that there was an EEA publication assessing the solar rooftop potential per EU Member State. Unfortunately, I can't find the publication any more. Could you please direct me towards it.
Thanks and best regards,
Marianne Zeyringer

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in the European Environment Agency (EEA).

We have published a number of publications on the topic of energy. However, there has not been such a publication assessing solar rooftop potential per EU Member State (at least in the past 5 years).

You may be interested in our recent publication 'Renewable energy in Europe - 2018', which provides information at EU and country level on estimated renewable energy source (RES) progress in 2013, estimated gross avoided carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and avoided fossil fuel use due to the additional use of renewable energy since 2005, as well as an assessment of the statistical impacts of growing RES use on primary energy consumption. The report can be accessed at: https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/renewable-energy-in-europe-2018
