Dear Sirs,

i got a question concerning following publication:

http://www.eea.europa.eu/pu[…]shore-wind-energy-potential

There are no exact numbers for the technical potential offshore, there's only a graph, so i'd like to contact one of the authors to get the exact numbers but there are also no names in this publication.

So does anyone know who i could speak to?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hello!

You should be able to find the desired numbers in the excel file which is available at this link:

Hello, I am also interested in the numbers, and I am happy that I can get it from your link. But how do I cite it? In the report, it says data from EIA 2008, and I cannot locate the data from the reference information in the report.

By the way, are there any similar work that provides wind potential in Europian countries?

Dear Dennis

We are not able to find the reference to ‘EIA 2008’ in this report. The report was produced by the European Environment Agency's European Topic Centre for
Air and Climate Change (ETC/ACC).

EEA reports, graphs and data can be re-used and reproduced for both non-commercial and commercial purposes under the following condition:

Content used may not be altered without the explicit permission of the EEA and the source (EEA) should be acknowledged. However, the use of excerpts of reports is permissible, as long as it is made clear what is EEA material and what is not.

Please see also the legal notice page on our website at the following link: http://www.eea.europa.eu/legal/copyright

The EEA has not published anything else related to the topic of wind potential in recent years. I would advise you to contact the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), who should have more studies on this topic: http://ewea.org/

Best regards
