Hola!
I would like to know whether there is information about the money invested in climate change mitigation and / or adaptation of every country of the EU, as well as the money invested by the EU to each member for this issue. Where could I find this information? Is there any data set that is updated yearly? any clue?
THANK YOU :)

Dear pepserra,
Thank you for your enquiry. The European Environment Agency produces reports on the state and trends of the environment based on environmental data. Please note that EEA neither provides environmental funding nor compiles data about ‘money invested in climate change mitigation and / or adaptation of every country of the EU, as well as the money invested by the EU to each member for this issue’.
Nevertheless, we have compiled some information that may be of use to you.
At EU level, the Directorate-General for Climate Action of the European Commission (DG Climate Action) is responsible for funding in the climate change sector. Therefore, it might be useful to you to consult with them. DG Climate Action’s homepage is located at:
http://ec.europa.eu/climateaction/

The specific subsection on funding can directly be accessed at:
http://ec.europa.eu/[…]/index_en.htm

Moreover, I believe you may find it useful to consult the statistics available through Eurostat. Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union situated in Luxembourg. Its task is to provide the European Union with statistics at European level that enable comparisons between countries and regions. Eurostat’s homepage can be found at:
http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu

In particular, the statistics about environmental expenditures might be useful to you. These are available in the ‘Statistics’ tab at the above-mentioned website. To obtain the data set on environmental expenditures, choose

-> Environment (at the bottom of the 'Statistics' tab)
-> Main tables (at the left-hand margin)
-> '+' before ‘Environmental accounts’ (in the centre)

Lastly, we would like to mention the ‘5th National Communication from the European Community under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)’ prepared by the European Commission. In particular, chapter 8 ‘Financial Resources And Transfer Of Technology’ may provide you with useful information. This report is available at:
http://unfccc.int/resource/docs/natc/ec_nc5.pdf

Hopefully, this information will be of use to you.
