Hi,

I'm hoping to obtain the raw data used to produce your mapped product of Mediterranean Monk Seal colony locations in the Mediterranean. Is this a possibility? the trouble is that the locations are quite difficult to pinpoint due to the large seal-shaped symbols on the mapped product.

All the best,
Joe Riberio

Dear Joe Riberio,

Would you be able to send a link to the map you are referring to? This will make it easier for our expert to help you.

Kind regards,

Dear Joe Riberio,

Could this map in EUNIS be the one you are referring to?
http://eunis.eea.europa.eu/species/1455#threat_status

The spatial data set used for the map in the Nature Reporting viewer
http://bd.eionet.europa.eu/[…]nachus+monachus&region=
and EUNIS, is available at the EEA data service in the link below
http://www.eea.europa.eu/da[…]ve-92-43-eec-1#tab-gis-data

If your interest is on Natura 2000 sites where the species occurs, the you can search the Natura 2000 viewer here
http://natura2000.eea.europa.eu/
and download data here
http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/natura-7#tab-european-data

I hope this is helpful.

Kind regards,
