Dear EEA forum,

the more or less yearly updated Natura 2000 data [1] delivers also the GIS data in Spatial lite format. That's nice as it is a open format.

At the moment all categories of the Natura 2000-protected areas (A,B,C) are stored in the same layer within the Spatial lite database.

May it be possible to split and save these protected areas with different categories in different layers within the Spatial lite database? This would ease the use in GIS with topology oriented vector models e.g. GRASS GIS.
