There used to be an overview of the SNAP classification system where you could easily access and see what each component consisted of.

For instance if i wanted to see what 1A1a "Public electricity and heat production" then i could navigate to this and there would be a pdf-document providing insight to what exactly this component was comprised of.

Hope someone can help me :)

Dear M. 'Akb,

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

Finnish and Estonian emission experts have created a ‘mapping table’, linking categories of different reporting formats (NACE, SNAP, NFR, CRF, E-PRTR, GAINS/RAINS). This table is available via the website of the EMEP Centre on Emission Inventories and Projections (CEIP) under the UN ECE LRTAP Convention: https://www.ceip.at/reporting_instructions (link on the right column).

Note that, under the National Emission Ceilings Directive (NECD) and the Gothenburg Protocol under the LRTAP Convention, Member States or Parties to the Convention now use the NFR14 reporting format, based on the reporting guidelines available here: https://www.ceip.at/[…]/.

We hope that this may be useful for you.

With kind regards,
