Is there data available on the spread of small scale diesel generators in developed, newly industrialized country and developing countries and their contribution to the air pollution? Especially in newly developing countries, where the electrical power demand exceeds the authorities' power generation capabilitis, small scale generators find widespread and often unregulated application in domesic as well as commercial environments with severe impact on air quality. Any information on this topic would be highly appreciated.
