Hello, can I be a private expert for gas emissions accounting/auditing? If so, which training course should I attend for? Thanks,

I get back with an example: one power plant reports gas emissions level to local authorities for CO2 certificates needs, who's responsible to check if that report is accurate, could it be an independent expert? Thank you,

Dear 'mmandro',

We would like to kindly suggest that you seek information on this at national level since it might be different from one country to another. Nevertheless, you might be interested to know that the UNFCCC provides a training programme for experts on the technical review of greenhouse gas inventories. More information can be found on the UNFCCC website:

We wish you all the best in your professional development.
