My question is about the env_air_gge data-table of eurostat which refers the EEA as the source of the data. I'd like to know what type of sectors are meant by the category 1_A_4 ("other sectors" in the category energy).

I guess the main part of it are private households. Can you confirm that?

thanks in advance and best regards

According to the IPCC Guidelines, Category 1.A.4 ‘Other sectors’ refers to emissions from:
- the commercial/institutional sector
- the residential sector
- agriculture/forestry/fishing
The residential sector is indeed the one contributing more in this category (average share of more than 60%).
Hopefully you find this useful.
