Good afternoon, with regard to co2 emissions in cars, have the EU States to accomplish CO2 emissions objectives or only car manufactures have to? In positvie case, Where could i take a look about law related with that? Thanks!

Regulation 443/2009 is the European Union legislation, adopted in 2009, setting mandatory emission reduction targets for new cars, which is the responsibility of car manufacturers. Under this Regulation, the fleet average emissions should be 130 grams CO2/km by 2015. Note that there is not one unique limit value for all cars manufactures; each one has a specific target, calculated on the basis of its fleet weight.
