All of Europe has the same problem with air pollution, as an innovative company we have found a solution how to fight PM10 and PM2.5 particles.

We started with a request in our Government in the Republic of Macedonia to help us to make our mechanism for cleaning the PM10 and PM2.5 particles, but we did not receive any feedback from them. We are asking for help from the European Union to provide us with little financial assistance and we can create our first prototype cleaning mechanism for PM10 and PM2.5 particles. With this mechanism we will enable everyone to breathe clean and high quality air

We believe that the European Union will provide us with little help so that we can begin to build a clean future for our children.

With respect

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

The EEA is the European Union (EU) agency responsible for providing information on the European environment. The aim of the EEA is to ensure that decision-makers and the public are kept informed about the state and outlook of the environment. The Agency collects environmental data from the Member Countries, other EU institutions and international organisations. Based on this information, we produce reports on various environmental topics.

Unfortunately, we do not provide funding for projects.

However, we have collected some information about EU environmental funding through a range of different websites; however, please be aware that the geographical coverage of the below information may be mainly focused on the EU area:

- the link on 'Funding' is a good starting for anyone looking for information on funding available from the EU and can be accessed at

- the Directorate-General for Environment offers a broad selection of funding opportunities for environmental issues in the EU (

- information about funding available for initiatives in a particular geographical area in Europe can be found on the Regional Policy website at

To retrieve information on EU's activities regarding non-EU Member States of the EU, we would suggest consulting the European Commission's website, particularly the Directorate-General for International and Development (DG DEVCO). DG DEVCO is responsible for formulating European Union development policy and thematic policies in order to reduce poverty in the world, to ensure sustainable economic, social and environmental development and to promote democracy, the rule of law, good governance and the respect of human rights, notably through external aid. You may find more information at:[…]/about-development-and-cooperation-europeaid_en

Lastly, you may also find it useful to consult the 'WelcomEurope' website (, which has been created by French and Dutch experts willing to initiate closer cooperation between local actors and the European institutions. It covers three main areas to assist individuals in successfully gaining European funding:

1) Information and follow-up help on European funding
2) Training sessions on how to apply for funding
3) Consulting on EU applications procedures

You may also find a section on EU fund and call for proposals for candidate countries.

We hope this information may be useful to you.

Kind regards,
EEA Enquiry Service

Dear EEA Enquiry Service

With great gratitude, we thank you for your help and your information that you have shared with us, and have shown us the path where we can find financial assistance.

The goal of our air purifying mechanisms is not just to create in our country, but all over Europe to have the opportunity to breathe clean and high quality air.

However, we are grateful for the road you shared with us to get to the right destination.

Best regards,
