jbonney Hi,

I am currently doing some research about 'environmental impact assessment' (EIA) and would like to know if you had some information on this topic.
I am aware that there are some regulations in place (both at a country and EU levels) and as such a certain number of projects must go through a mandatory EIA (source:
http://ec.europa.eu/environment/eia/eia-legalcontext.htm).
What I am looking at is basically if there are some numbers available about the following:
- how many projects are concerned on a yearly basis in the EU?
- how many parties are involved in these EIAs?
- how long do these EIAs take on average?
- is there a list about companies that are allowed to run these assessments?

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,

Jimmy

asousa Dear Sirs,

At
http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/co2-cars-emission-2 you refer that: "The Regulation (EC) No 443/2009 requires Member States to record information for each new passenger car registered in its territory. Every year, each Member State shall submit to the Commission all the information related to their new registrations. In particular, the following details are required for each new passenger car registered: manufacturer name, type, variant, version, make and commercial name, specific emissions of CO2, mass of the vehicle, wheel base, track width, fuel type and fuel mode. Additional information, such as type approval number, engine power and engine capacity were also submitted."

I'm doing an important vehicle market research, and in order to properly advance it is required to get detailed data on vehicle registrations. I'm not only interested in total vehicles per OEM and average fleet figures, but specifically, for each OEM and each european market, in sub-total numbers for each commercial name, containing engine power and engine capacity data. In fact, I need to access the database with all Member States new registrations figures.

You have this data. My question is: can you provide it? How could I access it?

Thank you very much in advance for all your help.
I'm looking forward to your feedback.

Best,
Alvaro Sousa
