Time and Seasonal Measurements of Grid Carbon Intensity

Does EEA or anyone else officially publish data on the carbon intensity of the electric grid in different parts of Europe based on the season, month, and/or hour? Obviously this varies a lot. My hypothesis is that it is more carbon intensive at night and during the winter. I've seen data for California published by the California Energy Commission on this, so I know it's possible to track it. Is it done anywhere in the EU?

I'm aware of www.electricitymap.org, but I can see no way to verify its accuracy, since it appears to be open-source.
