Meeting the challenge of Covid 19 for public transport.
My company has developed a spray which creates a non-hazardous, light air treatment throughout an indoor space which kills the COVID-19 virus in the air and on hard, non-porous surfaces.
The spray has already been tested and proven to be safe in the USA and is currently under review for an emergency exemption from the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Could you please advise me on the process to be followed to obtain emergency exemption to use this spray to kill Covid 19 on buses and trains across the EU states.

Dear M. A. Murray,

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

The EEA produces reports on the state and trends of the environment in Europe in its attempt to improve the environment and move towards sustainability in Europe. European environmental legislation and product authorisation in Europe is beyond the EEA's working remit. We would therefore suggest that you contact the European Commission services directly via https://europa.eu/european-union/contact_en

With kind regards,
