Hi, I am a senior Turkish student. As the website indicated Turkey is an eea country. But when I tried to apply master programmes in copenhagen the schools did not accepted that Turkey is eea country. They told me I have to pay tutiation fee and apply before deadline for non eea and non eu countries.I sent them the link from eea's website which shows Turkey is eea member but still they are not convinced. How can I prove that we are in eea or is there something that I missunderstood?

Are there two different eea named European Economic Area and European Environment Agency?
Are they different from each other? Which one of them is Turkey a member of?

I’m copying the mail that I got from CBS

Dear Dilan,

Turkey is not, in fact, a member of EEA and therefore Turkish applicants must pay application and tuition fees when studying at CBS.

Hello Dilan,
Yes, Turkey is a member of the European Environment Agency, but is not a member of the European Union nor the European Economic Area. Hope this helps.
