I'm student at UCL in Belgium and i'm doing a thesis about the activities of the agency.
My question is : what are the impacts of the activity of the agency on the european process?

I'm aware of the missions of the agency, his coordination role with EIONET and the new EAP newly adopted by the Council but concretly are there others consequences of the activity of the agency?

Is the agency really shape the european environment policy and also when the productions of the agency are used in the european decision making process?

Best regards

Hi Arthur,

The role of the European Environment Agency (EEA) is to help the Community and member countries make informed decisions about improving the environment, integrating environmental considerations into economic policies and moving towards sustainability
