Hello,
I am Director of the European Studies in English degree programme at the Université Clermont Auvergne in France; my students and I would like to visit the Agency in the first semester of 2021. Would this be possible?
Thank you.

Dear "sapatel",

Thank you for your interest in the European Environment Agency (EEA).

First of all, please allow us to give you some background information about the European Environment Agency and its work.
Here at the European Environment Agency, we collect data on the environment in Europe and we regularly assess the status of Europe’s environment. We work with policymakers and influencers in providing them sound, independent information on the environment. Those involved in developing, adopting, implementing and evaluating environmental policy then use our independent expert knowledge. We also inform the general public on environmental topics.
We are an agency of the European Union, a public administration. You can read further about our activities on our webpage https://www.eea.europa.eu/about-us/who.

We do welcome visiting groups if we have availability and expertise in the required area. If that is the case, we give a presentation about our role and activities. We cannot however, fund any visitors for their travel to Copenhagen. You should be aware that we are not a research institute and therefore we do not do a tour of our building. (Here are only offices).

Please note that we are not a research institute, science laboratory or a company developing technologies.

With the above in mind, should you still be interested in visiting our Agency, please send an email to Petra.Fagerholm@eea.europa.eu.

With kind regards,
EEA Enquiry Service
