Hello everyone, (sorry for my english)
We are an Observatory for Social and Economic Development in the Basque Country, but we are also interested in environment, energy, pollution... data. I have seen that there is a lot of information to download, but we are interested in the one is given in European regions, not only in national level. Is there anything available? We manage GIS technology, so, it could be data to operate. How can we get that data in an easy way? thank you for your help,

EEA, as an European Agency, produce information at European level. You can find all indicators at http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/#c5=&c7=all&c0=10&b_start=0.

When it comes to air pollution you can find aggregated information at national level in the country air pollution fact-sheets: http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/air-pollution-country-fact-sheets. There is also information related to the status of air quality in the assessment zones at http://www.eea.europa.eu/da[…]u-air-quality-thresholds-4, together with the shape files. And all the information at the station level is in Airbase (http://www.eea.europa.eu/themes/air/air-quality/map/airbase), the air quality database containing validated air quality monitoring information for more than 30 participating countries throughout Europe.

I suggest you to have a look at Airbase but also at the Air Pollution Data Centre (http://www.eea.europa.eu//themes/air/dc) and all our data products (http://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps).

Finally, you can find information about air quality stations location and pollutants concentrations at http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/airbase-exchange-of-information-4. We could provide you with the ArcGIS files of these maps, so you could reproduce them.

I hope this information is useful.
