EEA does not offer an internship or traineeship programme.

All vacancies at the Agency are published at the EEA homepage at:
http://www.eea.europa.eu/about-us/jobs

The Agency cannot consider any unsolicited applications whether received by post or by e-mail.

Below are listed some relevant links that provide information on employment opportunities within the European Union in general and within the EU institutions.

All permanent staff members for EU institutions are recruited through open competitions that are published in the Official Journal of the European Union and at the website of the European Communities Personnel Selection Office (EPSO). Its mission is to organise open competitions to select highly qualified staff for recruitment to all institutions of the European Union. The EPSO homepage is located at:
http://europa.eu.int/epso/index_en.htm

The European Commission has prepared a Traineeships Office Website. This website offers information on internship programmes, including other European institutions. Such information can be accessed in the section titled ‘Related websites’, at the upper right-hand side of the page. For more information, please consult the following website:
http://ec.europa.eu/stages/index_en.htm

Also, the European Commission has launched the European Job Mobility Portal aimed at improving job mobility across the Union. The portal contains information on job vacancies in different Member States. Unlike other jobs portals, it provides information not only about living and working conditions, but also about educational and training opportunities abroad. The European Job Mobility Portal can be accessed at:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in the European Environment Agency (EEA).

For information about internship possibilities at the EEA, please enquire with our HR Department directly by sending an email to Recruitment.Enquiries@eea.europa.eu.

The Blue Book Traineeship programme of the European Commission offers possibilities to work with the European Commission or executive bodies and agencies of the European Institutions, including the EEA. Please find more information at https://ec.europa.eu/stages/home_en.

We hope that this information may be useful to you.
