Dear EEA,

In one of your reports is published that the transport sector was responsible for 27 % of greenhouse gas emissions in 2017 in EU-28, do you have a diagram of this with the other responsible sectors for greenhouse gas emissions included?

I found other numbers on the internet (Eurostat), speaking of a 25 % transport share in greenhouse gas emissions in 2017 of EU-28, based on numbers of the European Environment Agency.

Can you please clarify?
Thank you in advance and kind regards,

Dear M. ‘Hvp’,

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

We would suggest you to refer to the Greenhouse gas data viewer at https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/greenhouse-gases-viewer and to the EEA indicator on Greenhouse gas emissions from transport in Europe (TERM) at https://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/transport-emissions-of-greenhouse-gases-12 .

For 2017, the % of total EU-28 greenhouse gas emissions coming from the transport sector is:
~27 % if international aviation and international shipping departing from EU are included
~25 % if international aviation departing from EU is included (this figure is most frequently cited as it relates to the EU’s GHG reduction commitment)
~22 % if international aviation and international shipping departing from EU are excluded

We hope that this clarifies the issue.

With kind regards,
EEA Enquiry Service

The restaurant industry is turning to technology to help increment their deals and pull in new diners. All the more specifically they are turning to the Internet and restaurant website plan. It's a growing pattern that numerous restaurants still can't seem to grasp however the inescapable truth is that those restaurants who neglect to introduce a modern web presence, will pass up the majority of new business in their general vicinity.

According to an investigation conducted by AIS Media, 89% of consumers who they have explored a restaurant online before dining there, and of that 89 % of consumers, 57% indicated that preceding selecting a restaurant they see the eatery's Web website. Also, 33% view other purchaser's audits online preceding feasting.
