Dear all, I need your advice!
I am looking for EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) reports published within the EU (including UK), to analyse for my master thesis. Can you suggest me any database or other ways to find them?
Thank you very much, for your help!

Dear Enia,

Thank you for contacting the European Environment Agency (EEA).

We suppose that by EIA, you are referring to the US Energy Information Administration. Please get in touch with them in order to access their reports: https://www.eia.gov/.

Should you be interested in EEA reports, please note that they are all available for consultation on our website at the following link: https://www.eea.europa.eu/p[…]14=&c12=&b_start=0.

Good luck with your master thesis.
With kind regards,
EEA Enquiry Service

Dear EEA Enquiry Service, thank you very much for your feedback! I edited my post. With EIA I am referring to Environmental Impact Assessment reports. And I am actually looking for reports published within the EU (including UK).

Dear 'Enia',

Thank you for this precision.

The EIA Directive (85/337/EEC), which is in force since 1985, sets up the legal framework around the necessity of performing EIA and ensures that projects likely to have a significant effect on the environment are adequately assessed before they are approved. All legislative and operational information on this matter is available online on DG Environment website at the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/environment/eia/index_en.htm. The document section might be useful for your research: https://www.era.int/upload/dokumente/20009.pdf. EIA performed by Member States might be available (in the local language) in the various countries. As regards the Impact Assessments performed by the European Commission, you can usually find them together with all documents related to a proposed legislation.

The EEA is not in a position to offer further information on this matter as it falls outside our expertise. We would suggest you to contact DG Environment for further information.

We wish you all the best with your thesis.

With kind regards,
EEA Enquiry Service
