The new reference year to come will be 2012, and the product will then become CLC2012. This new release will comprise 2 products: A change layer CLC2006-12, and a 2012 status layer (CLC2012). The production has already started and the finalisation of the EEA39 coverage is expected towards the end of 2014.

Good morning, 2015 has just started... are there any news about the official release of the Corine 2012 data? Thanks a lot

The situation at this moment is that 25 countries have finished CLC, but we do not have yet a European dataset put together and made available for download at the land.copernicus.eu website. We will start to do partial integrations and deliveries starting from this spring, and stepwise include further countries as they come. A full delivery will be done when all countries are ready. Hope this helps. Kind regards.

Yes, something like that. It is very difficult to put an exact date for completion. We are trying to get as much as possible on line before the summer holidays and to make at least the first partial mosaic available soon.

The data is not yet fully validated. Only partly. The remaining part will go through validation soon.
You can find the validation report for partial CLC under the Technical library of Copernicus land http://land.copernicus.eu/user-corner/technical-library
Scroll down to heading “Validation of land monitoring products” the CLc document is found in http://land.copernicus.eu/[…]/GIO_CLC2012_Prelim_Valid_Summary_EEA1.pdf
Hope it helps!
