Eye on Earth is a ‘global public information service’ for creating and sharing environmental data and information online. Much of the website content will be accessible for any user anywhere in the world.

EEA’s overall goal for Eye on Earth is to expand and improve the environmental knowledge base, to help its users better understand what’s happening with our environment, and to inform actions which could improve the environment (e.g. policy making).
