We need to access to WMS service trhough gvSIG program and we don´t know the url or if the access isn´t possible.

Hello,

Could you please give us a bit more details on which services you would like to access.
Our mapservices are available via discomap.eea.europa.eu
If you point us to the services needed we will be happy to make them WMS capable if they are not yet!

I need the Map-Service URL for gvSIG.
In http://www.eea.europa.eu/code/gis there are several URL's for ArcGis, ArcMap, Quantum GIS.... My desktop program is gvSIG. I don´t know if it's possible to access with this application.

Hello,

If your desktop aplication alows connection to webmapservices or/and WMS, it should not be a problem.
Most of our mapservices are already WMS compliant.
If you want to use a service which is not, just tell us and we will see what we can do!

gvSig allows connection to wms, but I don´t wich url i have to use. I have used http://discomap.eea.europa.eu/[…]/WMSServer but it doesn´t work.

Hello,

We do not use gvSig here but our sercices are working.
I just tried that link http://discomap.eea.europa.eu/[…]/WMSServer in Gaia and it is working fine.
Do you have examples of wms services you can see and use with gvSig

This is not a WMS

And i got that message
msDrawMap(): Image handling error. Unable to initialize image.
msPrepareImage(): General error message. Image dimensions not specified.
msCalculateScale(): General error message. Invalid image width or height.
