So now the eu wants to manage our climate too ? The eu hasn't been very successfull in its other endeavours, please don't mess this up as well. The climate does pretty well on it's own, and CO2 doesn't have a lot to do with it. The 'Climate Change, Impacts and Vulnerabilities in Europe 2012' report doesn't really add to the little credibilty the eu has left....

To prevent the most severe impacts of climate change, the international community has agreed that global warming should be kept below 2ºC compared to the temperature in pre-industrial times. The EU has set itself targets for reducing its greenhouse gas emissions progressively up to 2050. For 2020, the EU has committed to cutting its emissions to 20% below 1990 levels.
