Do you have European maps showing the yearly precipitations over te last couple of years (2008-2011) and also maps with SOx and NOx monitoring for these years?
Coud you also inform on the sources of the data. Are these maps based on a summary of some meteorological stations collections or are they based on estimation (if yes, what is it based upon?). Thank you in advance

you can find data about the European Climate in the website of the European Climate Assessment & Dataset project (http://eca.knmi.nl).
Precipitation and temperature maps can be found at:
http://eca.knmi.nl/download/millennium/millennium.php
Regarding your question about SOx and NOx data, you may be interested by the EEA Air pollutant data viewer (LRATP convention) that can be found at: http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/air-emissions-viewer-lrtap
Information and maps showing main pollutants can be found in the AirBase (version 6). Maps of European measured/monitored air quality concentrations are available for the main pollutants including SO2 and NO2 at: http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/airbase-exchange-of-information-3. AirBase v6 data itself and accompanying meta information is available via this link: http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/airbase-the-european-air-quality-database-6
You may also be interested by the EEA 'Air quality in Europe — 2012 report': http://www.eea.europa.eu/[…]/air-quality-in-europe-2012
Lastly, regarding your question about data related to precipitation, another good source of information is the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF): http://ecmwf.org/
I hope this will help.
